WVP6BS-SB VIBRATO

The WVP6BS-SB vibrato takes the traditional vibrato to the next level with its saddle surround adding comfort and restricting sideways saddle movement. Featuring Wilkinson’s unique 5+1 knife edge the WVP6BS-SB retains all the fantastic tone transfer of a six screw pivot setup without the tuning issues associated from the classic vibrato. Elongating five of the six mounting screw holes avoids binding of the screws on the top plate, whilst the sixth hole is used traditionally to locate the vibrato laterally. This combination gives the WVP6BS-SB a fantastic return to zero that atraditional vibrato just cannot match.

UNIQUELY WILKINSON

The special design bent steel saddles retain fantastic vintage tone and efficient energy transfer through to the top plate and Solid Steel block, drilled to the unique Wilkinson stagger pattern a consistent angle is achieved for each string from the saddle into the block, this feature combined with deep drilling each hole adds even greater tuning stability, increased sustain and ease of intonation. Removing the issues of the threaded traditional vibrato arm, the WVP6BS-SB features a push in arm that inserts neatly into a delrin sleeve that is seated in the block, tension on the bar is adjusted via a grub screw on the rear of the block, allowing the player to set the stiffness of movement to taste.
