Canadian born musician Pete Thorn is what could be called a journeyman of the guitar, he has studied, honed and developed his craft touring, recording and working alongside a prestigious list of artists that include, Don Henley, Melissa Etheridge, Jewel, Chris Cornell and Japanese rock icon Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi.

Pete’s first solo release cd titled “Guitar Nerd” is testament to his passion for everything guitar related, this is born out on his YouTube and social media channels where his vast knowledge of guitar equipment, recording techniques and in depth product demonstrations have created a substantial following of likeminded guitar players and musicians.

Heavily involved in equipment development Pete’s association with legendary guitar, amp and effects designer and builder John Suhr, has seen the development of Pete’s own signature amplifiers and guitars, and through this association and John’s long term friendship with Trev Wilkinson, Pete became the road tester for the Wilkinson Anniversary WVS1302P vibrato unit which now features on Pete’s Signature Suhr guitar.
