Igor Paspalj uses Wilkinson WLS130 locking saddles on his custom instruments, and here Igor explains the benefits in this short video on WLS130 Saddles and in full flight on this stunning fusion jam
“Wilkinson WLS130 saddles are the real solution for the core problems of tuning on tremolo equipped guitars. Wilkinson recognized the problem of strings “slipping” at the saddle when using tremolo and doing big string bends, and solved it by locking the strings at the intonation point on the saddle, which gives you all benefits of locking tremolo but without requiring a locking nut, plus, quick alternate tunings, quicker string changes, and that more vintage tone of a non -locking tremolo”
